      Great job! What did you use to seal between the fuselage and the wing root?

      If it’s the light weight Sky tec starter your starter mounted solenoid may be bad. Least ways it was in mine. Your has a good number of hours also. On mine the black plastic or Bakelite end was loose and the contacts weren’t contacting. Oh yeah it happened without any forewarning.

      Ed thank you for taking the time to create and submit a great article. I learned several great tips. Should you ever have to replace the lenses over the nav/strobe lights I would really appreciate learning how you would do that.

      Roscoe,
      No I just slip it in under the cowl and around the hinge. The screws hold it tight against the fiberglass cowling bottom and its big enough that it’s hard to drop in the nosebowl.
