Here is a quick guide to help you write a forum topic from scratch. You will be starting the topic as an author, creating the title, assigning the forum, adding tags, and body with pictures inserted inline.

On the left Dashboard menu, go down till you come to Topics, hover over ti and then select add new.

When you select ‘New Topic’ you will wind up on this screen when you will do all the work of filling out the topics and all its parts.

So let us pick a title, say ‘Writing a New Topic’, and type it into the tile area at the top, and then select the forum, in this case, ‘Water Cooler’. Like this:

Now, let us add some text into the body of the post.

Now let us add a picture or some other media. You do this by the ‘Add Media’ link to the library under the title bar.

Here I have selected 3 pictures of text to add to the body. Hit the “Insert into Post” button on the lower right (not in this picture above).

Finishing the topic will be just a matter of new text and more images. Write, insert, repeat. Enjoy!
