Can the Traveler be upgraded to the 0360 like the Cheetah?

The Traveler can be upgraded to the Tiger engine with a O-360 via STC, the Cheetah has the same engine as the Traveler the O-320. However, it is cheaper to sell your Traveler and buy a tiger than convert the Traveler.
Another option is to upgrade the O-320 to high-compression via STC using flow matched and polished cylinders getting a HP boost and then put electronic ignition on it. This engine will produce more power than the Tiger motor.

How would the cost of an electronic ignition upgrade compare with an upgrade to a Sensenich prop on a Traveler with an HC O320?

What is the current opinion on flow matched/polished cylinders?
I am looking for a Traveler/Cheetah, so I called three overhaul shops to see what Overhaul cost is estimated. I find one overhaul shop recommends doing that for $300/cyl. One out East said the cylinders get enough air, and one overhaul shop in the high plains said it is sort of a gimmick. Any advice?
Estimate cost-wise looking similar at about 19K to 21K to overhaul O-320-E2G with a good core.

I highly recommend port and polish on new cylinders, it does make a difference.

Are there other rebuilders in the lower 48 states who do this like Ly-Con?

I would imagine there must be someone, but all my work had been done by Lycon for the last 20 years.

I live in Alabama and am also interested in the 160hp STC, electronic ignition and polishing as well. I assume that with the power upgrade, a propeller change would be warranted as well? Unfortunately, my engine has less that 100 hours since overhaul so I am not sure this upgrade is in my best interest at this time. It more depends on the cost than anything else. Do any of you know a shop in the southeast that may be able to accommodate the aforementioned upgrade?
