Acquired a1979 Grumman Tiger a year ago, (was abandoned for 10 years). After attending a work shop seminar in Arizona a couple of year learned a lot about our planes (thanks to Roscoe & Ken). Owned an Archer for 23yrs and a Comanche for 13yrs. The Tiger is a great plane, easy to maintain and repair.
What I found out though doing annuals and removing the seat screws ( to me was difficult). The first time standing on my head shinning a light and removing slotted screws was a tasking job. I’ve done my own maintenance on my 2 planes. Well when getting ready to do my annual this year I made a seat alteration that makes removing them in less then 5 mins to remove.
