I had just put these on the plane a few years back and already they are clouded. So I called AirModsNW and ordered two more sets. Killing time yesterday, I took out my Harbor Freight Car Headlight polisher and used some Novus to see what I could do to save the lenses.

As you can see, quite a bit of difference. The polisher is in the second shot after 30 seconds of buffing with Novus 2 (medium). I followed up with Novus 1 (fine).

These 1/2 gallons will last quite a while and are a bit pricey but work on plastic and paint equally.

Roscoe, sorry for what will seem like a coupe of elementary questions, but did you get this response polishing only the outer surface, or did you have to do both the outer and inner surfaces? Also, did you just use Novus 1 and 2, or did you also use Novus 3?

I did only the outside and as I wrote above, I used the 2 and then the 1.

If you have to do the inside then you need new lenses from Ken Blackman.
