Section 10, fig 10-17 of the AA-1 series service manual shows the repair of the tail tie down area. Has anyone ever seen an 8110-3 or other “approval” for this repair? Did this repair on my -1B and the fuzz is having difficulty with “approval”. Somewhere along the long history of these aircraft, surely the repair has been previously “approved”.
