Help! Just noticed a crack developed from the front canopy bow extending aft about 4″. (Could this be a result of expansion caused by sitting exposed in the sun on a ramp in 115+-degree temperatures with only a fabric cover?)

Any guidance regarding stop-drilling or other suggestions?
