I am looking for the O-320, conical Mount engineSTC that is currently available for the AA1. I believe AirModsNW had one but they seem to have passed it on and are currently shut down. Any information regarding someone I could contact would be helpful. Thx.

If you are talking about using an 0-320 on a Conical (original straight mount), I don’t think Ken’s STC cover that. Roscoe can correct me, but I think his STC only used the AA-1C Dynafocal mount.
I have the Collier (now FletchAir) STC, that does. I think the “Mean Gene” STC also covered that, but not sure of the status of that one since he passed way. -

Thank you Richard for responding. I contacted FletchAir and you are correct, their STC only applies to the Dynafocal model engines. The AirModsNW STC covers A, C, & E model engines but I’m led to believe that they no longer hold that STC. They referred new to Yankee Aviation but there my search went cold. Could not get any responses there. Still searching. Thanks again!

This forum is run by Roscoe who runs Yankee Aviation. His info is under the Contacts tab here.
If it covers the 0320-A, then it would cover the Conical mount. I have a 0320-A2B on my AA-1B. Roscoe would know for sure. -

Thank you. I had seen this STC on the FAA website. Do you know who I can purchase the approval to use the STC from and get all the instructions and drawings for compliance?

It is currently not available, but somewhere way down the road, it will be transferred to the GPA and available again.

Is there any way to see if this STC has been sold/issued to a specific airframe from the current STC holder? I am working with an aircraft that appears to have had the STC installed but the records have been lost and the FAA has no record of the 337 being filed. Previous mechanics say they’ve seen the documentation in the logs but now those are gone. Perhaps repurchasing the paperwork is the only solution. Suggestions welcome.

Hoping those records are saved by the STC holder.
