I get tired of refinishing the tow pins on the nose gear fork. After a few uses they start rusting out.
I found a company in Sonora, CA on E-Bay that sells all kinds of Stainless Steel Hardware. They have SS spacers that that are very close to the ones from the factory. Going through their offering they had ones that were slightly larger and ones slightly smaller then original. I purchased the ones slightly smaller ones. They measure 5/16″ ID X 9/16 OD X 1/2″ long. The factory spacer measures 5/16 X 3/8 X 9/16.

They sell for $10.60 for 2. Now I need to get SS bolts and washers to go with it.

Here are the Stainless Steel tow pins installed on my Yankee Project with SS bolt and washers. These are on Fletchair’s Vans RV style nose wheel pant that I am doing a trial fit on.
