I sent a February 1968 Air Progress article to Roscoe on the coming Yankee, which has some interesting pictures of one of the pre-production prototypes, with a throttle quadrant on the center console (instead of the push pull throttle), and what appears to be a manual flap bar on the back of the console. The production instrument panel looks a lot better then this prototype I think.
This file was to large to upload to the GPA site.
I have some other early Yankee articles, I am looking for the one I think from Flying or AOPA written just after Jim was kicked out of the company and American Aviation was formed. It also had an interview with Jim. I will keep looking.
