We had our panel redone when we first got it since the previous owner used to keep a heater in the cockpit and this over years cause the labels to fade, peel away, etc.
So when we got the plane to Ohio, we had Roscoe at Yankee Aviation come and get it and redo the panel. Roscoe took the panel out while supporting the old instruments so that the two sides could be prepped and repainted.
Here are the pictures of the process. Panel stripped, then acid etched, alodined, then primed and painted with propeller epoxy (very hard and durable paint)!
And here are the results! Very Nice.
