ORIGINAL McCauley Prop. on our 0-360 180hp Lycoming Engine. 20 hours since checked and dressed during Annual. 1319 hrs. since new. Fixed Pitch 1A170/KFA7563, Serial Number P809?9 Standard Model. Was original on our 76 Grumman STC Cheetah, with 0-360 180hp Lycoming. We Up-graded to a new Sensenich Prop. Never been in an accident. Like new. Checked and dressed on 7/24/2017 at 1298 tach time by Aviation Classic Ltd., Reno, NV. The Propeller was certified in accordance with a 100hour Inspection and determined to be in airworthy condition. It has approximately 20 hours on it since that time.
Bolts and misc. hardware included. However they are used and critical hardware needs to be replaced. Photo copy of the Log Book Entry and certification will accompany the prop, however it should be checked by your FBO and certified airworthy. Free shipping from Apple Valley, CA. I have the 1A170/FFA7563 on my Tiger. It has the 200 hour AD on it. I have been contemplating the sensenich prop too but this sounds interesting to me as it would get rid of the AD but not the yellow arc on the tach though. I will think about it.
Thanks

May have sold the McCauley for $1,500 including shipping. It’s iffy at this point. Respondent is vague about a lot of information. Will repost if this becomes problematical.
Restriction on the McCauley is if you hold RPM at a “continuous” 1850-2335 RPM. Otherwise, mine didn’t have a problem.
Sensenich has a restriction too “if” you have a hollow crank on the 0-360. No restriction if a solid crank.

Hi Gary,
Where did you get your new prop from if you don’t mind sharing?
Thanks, Scott

Fletchair. For some reason nothing is going through.
Fletchair. They own the STC for Sensenich. There is an RPM Restriction on the Sensenich Prop if you have a hollow Lycoming Crankshaft. We have a solid one so we are free from any restriction. If you buy from some other vendor, you may have to purchase the STC from Fletchair anyway. It was competitively priced.
