      Hello everyone.
Bumming around the forum I see a few folks that have an iPad and iPhone mounted to their yokes. Anyone using another option such as a RAM-mount on the upper left of the six pack? I’m considering adding an iPad to the cockpit, but want it as clean an unobtrusive as possible.
      Thanks!

My choice is an iPad Mini with a Ram suction mount at the lower left corner of the windscreen, positioning the iPad half way above and below the panel eyebrow which gives reasonably unobstructed view of the panel.

Thank you, Mike! If you can take a photo next time you fly, I’d love to see how you’ve got that setup. This seems like the way to go for me, but since my plane is awaiting overhaul at FletchAir, I can’t go measure it for a mounting solution.

Thanks for the photo, Tim! Really like that mounting setup you have there. Unfortunately won’t work for me since my avionics stack is completely full. Very nice-looking panel, and I like the creative pen-holder!

I mounted mine to a “Warner?” Mount on the copilot side full sized iPad. This works quite well and I can send a picture of the set-up. That said, for IFR in IMC I find myself not using any mounting for reading plates and charts as needed.

Thought I’d close the loop and report out on what I eventually did. Decided to go with the iPad Mini and Ram suction mount/ez Roller to the copilot side. It’s within close proximity to a charger right below it (EI USB-6A) and the Scout mounted to the windscreen right behind it.
Just another idea for mounting your tablet.
