It is very difficult to check tire pressures and/or inflate tires needing additional psi because of the position of the tire valve under the wheel farings. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this without so much trouble?
I remove the bolt access cover on the outside of the fairings, then remove the 5/8 bolt that holds the outside of the fairing. Then I have a piece of plywood that is about 1.5 inches higher than the vertical distance between the ground and the lower edge of the fairing. This jacks up the outside edge of the fairing just enough to get to the valve stems.
