  I purchased a Tiger yesterday and sold my Warrior today. I’m pretty excited about it. Any tips or tricks for a first time Grumman owner? I’ve never flown one but have hired an expert to ferry and transition train.

  Congratulations! Great choice of aircraft. I have owned an AA-1B for some 37 years.
  This site is a great resource for information. For Maintenance, Roscoe and team have done a great job of documenting issues and how to handle them via YouTube videos and document archives.
  If you have not joined yet, another site is the “Grumman Gang” – http://www.grumman.net For day to day the Grumman Gang has lots of people watching and responding.
  It sounds like you found someone that is familiar with the Grumman to train you. That is considered one of the most important aspects of owning a Grumman, a good checkout.

  As much as I hate Facebook, I recommend joining a few of the groups for Grumman-owners. They’re far more active than most websites/threads.
