That worked out well. Once the inside hole was opened up to 1/2″, it only took a couple of seconds with the grinder to clean out the honeycomb material. Then a small slotted blade screwdriver to knock loose small pieces still holding on to the outside skin. Blew out and vacuumed the holes. Bobbins then installed flush, I had to add a thin washer to make up for the thickness of the rail mounting plate that rivites to the inside of the honeycomb.
