Has anyone replaced the upper and lower glareshield? I recently purchased the set from Fletchair and want to make sure I don’t make any mistakes with trimming, fitting, and installing.
What did you trim it with?
Are screws required to hold the pieces together? Or are screws added over the years due to wear and tear?
Is the metal glareshield supposed to lay on top of the plastic upper and lower glareshield? In the picture attached you can see the plastic upper is laying on the metal glareshield. Also in the picture you can see the screws have torn through the plastic upper glareshield, has anyone devised a method that would prevent that from happening?
What else do you recommend?
