      Hello,
      Newer to the forms, I have a AA5B 180 hp 1976. The POH states to start engine mag to left then both when engine starts. I have been starting the engine this way since I have purchased April of this year. I would like to know if this is still the correct way or not really needed?

      Tom,

      This is still the correct way so that the right mag does not misfire.
