      Due to out-of-town work, it has been a couple of years since I removed the engine from my AA-5, SN 0639. Now that the rebuilt engine is reinstalled, I can’t recall where the ground cable from the battery connects to the airframe. There are no other locally-based AA5s to view.

      Gary,

      It bolts to one of the bolts that hold the oil sump on, on that back corner.

      PS Some move it to the lower motor mount bolt into the firewall.
