Ny pre SN 640 AA5 had a nose strut replacement some 40 years ago. The new strut provides greater prop to ground clearance when taxiing, but cause the nose to sit slightly higher. Does anyone know if the fiberglass gear legs are the same length for all the AA5 series, or if the nose fork is different ( forged vs built up), to accommodate the longer strut?
