      Good day

The one bolt that limit the rotation of the nose wheel fork, stripped its thread. I think it is a quarter inch bolt. I drilled and tapped it to the next size which is 7mm metric.
As i inherited this rebuilt project from someone, the bolts are missing on this.
I have a second old fork with a little bush around the bolts.
Can someone help me with the right setup for the bush and bolts. Does the fork make contact on the bush or the bolt head?

      Thanks

I trying to see what you mean by the ‘bush’. Do you have a picture? Most of the forks had to allen head bolts that hit the tap to limit the fork rotation so it does no go into the prop.

Do you have a picture of yours?

      Thanks

      Hi Roscoe
We are at 03h00 in the early morning hours here.
I will take a picture when i go to my hangar this morning.
How do i upload the picture or send it to you.

Is the normal setup just a bolt screwed into the fork. The stop on the nose fork just stop on the allen head bolt’s head area. Is that right?

The small bush around the neck of the bolt was a modification by the previous owner, i suppose. I want to change it to standard again

      Thanks
