Flew it for awhile after I bought it to check out all the bugs. Then started in on the project a couple of months ago.

Original paint had excellent adhesion, it was just faded and worn. Interior was in terrible condition as was the overlay on the panel.

Prepped and painted the airplane using and oil based enamel. Order a complete interior from Airtec. So far I have the headliner material, side panels, arm rests, and a couple of small carpet pieces.

Removed the canopy, flipped the rails and installed new teflon on the bottom, removed the old DME (heater) and installed a newer IDME/VOR/GS along with an new integrated radio VOR. Replacing the original audio panel with a GMA340,
Replaced all side glass with Solar Grey Poly Carbon glass.
Installing a Navtron OAT/Volt/DA etc with remote OAT probe.

Replaced both wing root gap seals

Drilled the Yokes one PTT per side.

Replaced all glass fuses with Klixon CBs

Replaced rocker panel switches with MS style toggles as per STC.

I’ll post more pictures as I get stuff done/installed

Old headliners were falling out. Canopy tracks were really worn.
