OK got it but I have noticed a lot of hissing in the background. Doesn’t seem to affect communication but very annoying. Is this a sign that my radio is going or something simple. I talked to TKM but they no longer support this 170B. Does anyone know of a place that I could talk to that could help?

Thanks Richard for the information it was great. The weather has finally cleared up in Minnesota and I am back in training. We flew in late the other night and noticed the landing light was pointing up. Not much good when approaching runway. I am having a mechanic look at it. Is there a adjustment when it was converted to TD Or a STC I need to get?
