I have noticed that the seats in a 79 Tiger are more comfortable than my 76 Tiger. Can seats from a newer Tiger be installed in the older plane? Direct swap or a major project with the tracks? Can the seat backs on any of the Tigers be reclined or adjusted?

Yes, you can use newer style seats in place of the older style. Direct swap as they both mount into the planes the same. Logbook entry on new seats.
The backs are fixed in design so they cannot be reclined or adjusted.

      Cheers

Good info, Thanks. What year was the change?

      Larry,
Roscoe can confirm, but I’m relatively sure it was the ’78/’79 with the more comfortable seats. My ’77 Tiger had those “bucket seats” when I owned it.
