Gentlemen,
I’m considering the conversion from 160 HP to 180 HP for my 1978 Cheetah. When checking out the cost, I think the first step is to locate the STC.
I seem to recall this coming up some time ago but I can’t find it.
Besides the STC, I’m looking for any advice as to what I should be considering and budgeting. Trying to avoid scary surprises.
Thank you to all, I’ve learned a lot about my plane and do my best to learn from others knowledge and experience.

Maynard Crosby of the Everett, WA holds the STC for that conversion Quite a few “Cheegers” are around (there are 2 at my local airport). I have not heard much from him in the last 6 months or so. Here is an e-mail address for him.
