      Hey Gang,

      Looking for information on Aux tanks for the AA1A. Is anyone making them and selling the STC? I understand that Airmods NW held it originally. Thanks for any help!

      I know Roscoe has been trying to work something out the Ken’s family on all his STCs. He would be the best one to give an update on how that is going. But as far as the aux tank installation kit, non have been made since before Ken past and that would the second hurtle. As I understood Ken’s STC, you had to purchase the tanks and parts from him.
      Gene Plazak was the other holder of an aux tank STC that was widely used. He has also passed away. You might give David Fletcher a call as he was helping his family sell his many STCs. I recall reading, his STC gave instructions on how to build your own tanks. If that STC is available, it might be the only option at this time.

      Next one AA-1A looking for Aux tank +10 gal.
      Aircraft in Europe, I am looking for paper works only.
      All next try to build in EU?

      You will likely need to talk to David directly to find out the status of the Gene’s STC.
      I was out visiting Roscoe last week and he has a set of Gene’s aux tanks removed from an aircraft, but no paperwork. Contact him about information on them.

      Hi all,
      I have an AA1C and would also like a set of 10gal AUX tanks, with the STC.
      If anyone has a break through with sourcing, could they please let me know also.

      On youtube Grumans Pilot is reference to possible STC location.
      “..Aux Fuel Options – Grumman Style: A quick survey of the aux fuel options for our two-place Grummans. For the DMA style, the STC holder can be reached at wbreeden@helicoptersinc.com.”
      Try to contact, but no reaction.
