      Removing the wheel pants is the easiest way to air the tires up, but actually not practical. During my annual, I replaced the left main tire and tube. I put in a fairly high dollar Michelin Airstop Tube and the air loss out of that tire is very minimal.
      To make it easier to find my valve stem, I made a line on the tire, which is half the battle to air them up.

      Obviously you have wheel pants, pull the wheel pants and the problem is solved. I have the same issue, but with the proper combination of angle heads on the inflator and pressure gauge it can be done. This is where you wished you had spent more money on the tube!!!
