Hi,

I’m new to the forum and I’m looking to buy my first plane. A 1973 Grumman AA-1B has caught my eye, I will need to do a pre-buy inspection, before making the final decision.

There are very few AMT/A&P’s in this area of Eastern Canada and even fewer that know the Grumman series A/C.

I’m looking for advice on what to have the AMT/A&P/AME look for, typical problems etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.
