1978 Cheetah O-320. Powerflow Exhaust.

I have high fuel pressure (above red line 9 psi) at 1000 RPM and normal fuel pressure (4 psi) at 2500 RPM. As I reduce power, the fuel pressure goes back above redline. As I increase power, the fuel pressure returns to normal in the green arc. Can someone explain if this is normal or concerning? I don’t have any engine problems. I just noticed this the other day and can’t remember if it’s been this way or just started acting this way…
