My 1969 AA1 Yankee is in for its annual Inspection and is in need of the right and left rudder cables.Part number is the same for both:

Or # 602107-505SS
Either will work the SS is the stainless versionMark Wallace

Wow, if Fletch did not have any and no plans to get any made, that is an issue. I know Roscoe is still going through the inventory he got from Ken Blackman’s estate, and maybe… Did you check with them to see if they had any serviceable old sets? While you are at it if it has not been done you should replace the pulleys with the larger ones used on the AA-1B’s. I think this was a Service Letter or Bulletin for the AA-1 and -1A.

I can’t seem to find the Service Letter or Bulletin for the AA-1 and -1A
for the info on replacing the pulleys with the larger ones used on the AA-1B’s.
Any help would be appreciated.Thank you,

Service letter 72-7 issued 12/15/72 covers it. Most AA-1, AA-1A and AA-1B through AA1B-0047 and early Travelers came from the factory with the small pulleys. They had service kits SK118-1 and SK118-2 to retrofit earlier aircraft with larger pulleys. Maybe Roscoe has the parts list that went with those service kits.
See attached PDF of the service letter.Rich
