finally found what i think is the right Grumman for me …weather permitting she will be delivered to lunken today 9 / 28 /2015. Let me tell you a little about N9615l .. 1973 ( same year our was born ) AA 1-b basic instruments . I dont really care for the paint design , dark blue with yellow wings ….. but with a fresh 160 horse power up front i can live with the colors FOR NOW. looking forward to meeting Roscoe ..and as many members as possible …As for me , im getting signed off today after delivery at lunken .. most of my time is in cherokees . sold my archer 2 year before last . bought a mustang 2 , did not care for the tail wheel , sold the m2 .Finally making the plunge again .. i got my ticket from Art Hogan at Hamilton Airport in 1973 in a 1957 Piper Tri Pacer ……will up date as soon as i get her home ( N9615l ) that is ,, jim shell

Congrats Jim! Been an owner for just over a year and a half now… and loved it. She’s a great aircraft!

I know you are already a member, but we sent you a letter anyway today since the paperwork to buy your plane just went through.

      Cheers

      ….congrats?

I know this is an outdated post however, I am a little curious how this is possible? I met with Roscoe on 4/30/16 and flew 9615L out of Winter Haven field FL. to see if I was interested in this bird when I was shopping. OP timestamp is posted 2015. Is this right or is the year screwed up on the forums?

What happened? Did the deal fall through? I passed on it and am curious what happened to it.

      Cheers
