      Doing some freshen up on my Tiger s/n 0075 Canopy Seal.

      I want to replace the most aft seal on the canopy….actually, I think it would be better named “Anti-Abrasion” strip.

      Grumman part number 1083-4 (V09144) with nomen “Seal” is from the parts manual.

      My Tiger never had much of a seal/abrasion strip in place when Impurchased the bird.

      I have read somewhere that this part number (1083-4) is a “Self Adesive” Felt Strip. Can anyone confirm the exact material, size, etc of the Mfg. strip.

      A picture of an original would be great.

      Mcmaster Carr sells the right product. It’s available at https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/87555K261

      It’s a felt strip, 2″ wide, 1/4″ thick, with a self adhesive backing. Works great.
